SPORTS MASSAGE THERAPY CLINIC IN HAY ON WYE
I practise Sports Massage, Therapeutic Massage and Reflexology in three clinics in Hay on Wye, Hereford and Herefordshire.
The aim of my treatments is to help you out of pain; to manage your muscles more effectively; and to improve their efficiency so you can return to activity or training. I also assess your posture and work on your postural habits, and mobility to help avoid future strain patterns or repetitive injury.
I am continuously reminded how the human body responds to one particular habit, injury or event, and that it can have such an impact on your balance, posture and emotional state.
I am trained and qualified in Sports Massage and Sports Injury Therapy, Posture Analysis, Myofacsial Release, Soft Tissue techniques, NMT (trigger pointing) and Reflexology.
I can help with pain and dysfunction associated with
• Rotator cuff / Frozen Shoulder / Shoulder Muscles
• Neck muscles
• Lower back pain
• Muscle Pain related to posture
• Sciatic Pain and Piriformis syndrome
• Tight Hamstrings and Calf Muscles.
As an holistic practitioner, I look at the whole picture of how we treat ourselves in our day to day lives not only on a physical level, but also from an emotional viewpoint.
My approach has opened many more avenues for my professional and personal development especially Rudolph Steiners philosophies on Wellbeing and his Weleda Products.

This is followed by a postural assessment, and where appropriate specific and functional tests, to establish range of motion or any restrictive patterns that may be affecting you.
We can then discuss your goals and objectives and devise a treatment plan on how to move forward in helping you back to fitness.
Where relevant, depending on the reason for your visit, I can provide you with information on appropriate stretches and exercises designed to help you take control of your own recovery.
