SPORTS & REMEDIAL MASSAGE HAY ON WYE AND HEREFORDSHIRE

My name is Tanith.
I practise Sports & Remedial Massage Therapy in three clinics across Hay on Wye and Herefordshire, I am also an experienced complementary therapist offering a range of treatments for health and wellbeing. Complementary Therapy in Hay on Wye
Within my work, I try to help you out of pain, to manage your muscles more effectively and also work on posture, stance and mobility.
Due to a minor mishap, I became fascinated how one particular injury or event can have such an impact on balance, posture and emotional state, and so my passion for body mechanics began....
Over the last six years I have trained and qualified in Sports and Remedial Massage, Posture and Bodywork, and Reflexology.
As an holistic practitioner, I look at the whole picture of how we treat ourselves in our day to day lives not only on a physical level, but also from an emotional viewpoint.
Adopting this approach has opened many more avenues for my professional development leading me into the Steiner World of Wellbeing, In Harmony with Nature and his philosophies that created Weleda Products.

Sports Massage Therapy can help with:

• Sports and Repetetive Strain Injuries

• Sports Events Support (Pre and Post Treatments) - Sports Taping.

• Rotator Cuff, Frozen Shoulder, Tennis Elbow.

• Postural Problems, Glutes, Quads and Hamstrings

• Other General Muscular Complaints, Strains and Soft Tissue Injuries

Remedial Massage -

  • Helps to 'remedy' and alleviate general aches and pains and back pain.

  • Ideal for when you overexert during exercise, gardening, sports activities or
    simply tweaks and twinges.

  • Great for treating postural imbalances and the associated muscle strains.

  • Relaxes the stressed areas and bring your body back into correct balance.

When you are receiving a number of consecutive treatments, we can discuss and create a treatment plan for you designed to meet your specific needs. Where relevant, depending on the reason for your visit, I can provide you with information on appropriate stretches and exercises designed to help you take control of your own recovery.
